Run on Ice Clinics and events with SWM!

We are launching a series of clinics and events leading up to the race to give you the best possible conditions to run the race of your life. Take the opportunity to be trained by a pro in ice running, receive tips and technical exercises on how to run most effectively on slippery winter roads, and get practical advice on equipment. We also offer the chance to try parts of the SWM courses before Race Day, guided by SWM founder Nicholas.

For safety during both events, we will assess the ice quality together with local skaters from SSSK and use ice reports from Sollentuna Municipality. Nicholas is also an experienced skater, and for both occasions, throw ropes, ice picks, and other safety equipment will be available if needed. Participation is at your own risk, but we will not run on ice that we deem to be of poor quality.
