Run on Ice – Clinics and Events with SWM!

We are excited to launch a series of ice running clinics and events leading up to the Sollentuna Winter Marathon (SWM) to help you run your best race ever. Join professional ice running coach Nicholas for expert technique training, practical exercises, and advice on how to run safely and efficiently on slippery winter roads. You’ll also receive equipment tips tailored for ice and snow conditions.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to preview sections of the SWM courses before race day, guided by SWM founder Nicholas himself.

Safety is our priority. During all events, we will assess ice quality in collaboration with local skaters from SSSK and consult ice reports from Sollentuna Municipality. Nicholas, an experienced skater, ensures safety measures including throw ropes, ice picks, and other essential gear are available if needed. While participation is at your own risk, we will never run on ice that we consider unsafe.

Take advantage of these clinics to improve your ice running skills, confidence, and race readiness before the SWM!
